REDLattice is seeking a seeking a skilled Systems & Networking Engineer to deploy, implement and maintain commercial infrastructure, including data center-based circuits, firewalls, Linux servers, network services, VPNs and security solutions in a fast-paced environment. This position requires communication with Europe in their time zone (early US hours), and extensive travel.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with IP networks in multi-layered and scalable systems
• 2+ years of experience in data centers and cloud environments
• 2+ years with hands on Linux administration and Fortinet firewalls
• Hands-on data center experience (racking servers, networking equipment, power equipment, cabling, power redundancy, inventory management).
• Ability to safely move and transport equipment
• Familiarity with network cabling standards (Ethernet, fiber (SMF, MMF), labeling).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work across time zones
• Ability to work under pressure
• Early hours for real time communications with EU customers
• Willingness to travel up to 50% primarily within EU

Preferred Traits:

• Proven experience as a Network or Systems Engineer in a mission critical environment
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• English proficiency and additional language skills preferred
