Genesis10 is currently seeking an IS Ops Support & Application Admin for an on-site position located in Kansas City, MO, Denver, CO, Oklahoma City, OK, or Omaha, NE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $85.00 - 95.00 per hour, W2

Summary:

Our client's Information Security team supports cloud infrastructure and application administration, while ensuring compliance with security standards. This role will have on-site requirements with the flexibility for 5 days of remote work per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Patching and updating cloud infrastructure through rehydration and manual methods.
  • Certificate renewal and key rotation.
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions for team owned environments.
  • Building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions aligned with Policy as Code requirements.
  • Provide development and production support / administration of SaaS and Low Code / No Code solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security scanning and testing tools.
  • Develop data visualizations and maintain data storage solutions for security metrics.
  • Automate repeatable security tasks, manual procedures, and especially those used to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in Agile processes including ticket management and sprint planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in information security, application security, DevSecOps engineering, cloud security, cloud administration, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud security principles and practices.
  • Experience with cloud operations and administration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code development and / or administration.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language (Python or Java).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
  • Working knowledge of application security scanning, configuration, and/or triage.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure automation and container technologies.
  • Must be a US Citizen or a green card holder with at least 3 years of residency.

Desired skills:

  • Strong competence in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and other platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formations, AWS Config, AWS Inspector, Guard Duty and others.
  • Expert understanding of DevSecOps practices, frameworks, and tools.
  • Expertise with tool integration for the DevSecOps pipeline such as Git, SAST, Dependency Scanning, DAST, etc.
  • Familiarity with Administration of SharePoint, Confluence, Tableau (or similar technologies).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPlatform tools (PowerApps, PowerAutomate).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills with detail-oriented approach.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has a collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Show ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
