Overview

Trust & Agency Services (TAS) is one of the five business segments within Corporate Bank, providing trustee, agency, escrow, and related services to corporates, financial institutions, hedge funds, and supranational agencies globally. TAS supports a broad range of products, from complex securitizations and project finance to syndicated loans, debt restructurings, and more standardized instruments.

As a Production Support Engineer within TAS, you will support critical, client-facing applications while helping to improve the stability, resilience, and automation of production environments. You will play a key role in driving proactive improvements across production support processes, partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do
  • Support and manage a portfolio of Trust & Agency Services applications, ensuring stable production operations and adherence to agreed service levels
  • Take ownership of incidents and problems, applying structured problem-solving approaches to drive timely resolution
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to reduce technical debt and improve production stability
  • Participate in stakeholder forums, preparing documentation and tracking progress against operational level agreements (OLAs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain and enhance application runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge repositories
  • Act as a production readiness gatekeeper, ensuring solutions meet operational standards prior to release
Skills You'll Need
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience supporting production environments within large, complex technology organizations
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase)
  • Familiarity with monitoring, scheduling, and alerting tools (e.g., Geneos, Splunk, New Relic, Control-M, Autosys)
  • Understanding of ITIL service management processes, including incident, problem, and change management
Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Effective troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage workload independently while maintaining transparency on progress and risks
  • Experience working in virtual teams and matrix environments
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $129,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
