The Accounts Receivable Supervisor provides oversight to the day-to-day operations of the Firm's Accounts Receivable Specialists. The position is responsible for ensuring the most effective and efficient policies, procedures, and systems are in place to ensure reporting, transaction processing and replies to client requests are completed timely and accurately.

Essential Duties:

Manages the Receivable functions for the Firm including but not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining relations with the client engagement teams and finance management.
  • Coaching and evaluating staff performance.
  • Oversee the training process for new hires.
  • Review and approve client refunds and write offs.
  • Oversee and assist in the stop work process.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Reconciliation of system integrations.
  • Assist in assessing and redistributing work volume.

Project management duties include but are not limited to:

  • Review and improve the team's processes and procedures.
  • Ensure process and procedure documentation is complete and proper.

Performance Advisor duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plans appropriate staffing levels; interviews, selects, orientates, and trains.
  • Communicates performance expectations, provides feedback and recognition of team's performance.
  • Completes employee counseling reports and/or discipline, including termination.
  • Creates career growth opportunities and employee development plans.
  • Holds monthly training/meetings to promote growth and development both individually and with the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Required:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

Required:

  • Ability to supervise, direct, and review the results of projects or assignments
  • Ability to support, affect, and implement change
  • Ability to impact and influence a diverse population
  • Ability to attract, lead, motivate, and retain a team

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $72,100 - $118,800

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
