Valley Health System in Ridgewood, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor to join our dynamic Internal Medicine Residency continuity practice at our new, state-of-the-art Family Care Center. As we continue to expand our academic footprint, we are recruiting dedicated, mission-driven clinicians who are excited to shape a rapidly growing training program. This is a distinctive opportunity for physicians who are passionate about teaching, committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and eager to influence the development of the next generation of internists within a forward-thinking academic health system. The Ambulatory Clinic Preceptor serves as a key core faculty providing high-impact supervision, direct observation, and robust competency-based assessment of residents in the continuity clinic. This role is central to advancing residents along the trajectory from supervised practice to confident, independent clinicians. Preceptors at Valley model excellence in clinical care, professionalism, reflective practice, and scholarly engagement, contributing meaningfully to curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and the academic culture of the program. The role also includes maintaining a primary care patient panel within our Family Care Center, ensuring faculty remain grounded in the clinical realities that inform resident education.
