The Job at a Glance

The Pricing Analyst will partner and organize with Sales leadership, Marketing, Ecommerce, Pricing Specialists and more, to promote profitable growth and market penetration in our existing business as well as new product categories. You will be a subject matter expert in the execution and logic of our pricing engine, assist in developing our product expansion strategy, and build reporting to track progress against objectives.

A Typical Day

• Manage and analyze pricing for assigned brands/categories, including developing, executing, and monitoring go-to-market pricing strategies.
• Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify pricing trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Develop and refine tools and processes to dynamically adjust pricing based on competitive, customer, and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to design pricing programs that increase penetration and attract new customers.
• Monitor drivers of profitability, including cost changes, competitor shifts, tariffs, and other market forces, and proactively adjust strategy as needed.
• Support bid/RFP opportunities by ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant pricing recommendations.
• Create and maintain reporting to track performance against objectives, such as sales growth, margin impact, and market share gains.
• Serve as a pricing subject matter expert, providing recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate ad hoc pricing and market analysis to support strategic company initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting, refining business intelligence tools, and eliminating manual processes.

To Land This Opportunity

• You have experience in an analytical data role (2+ years strongly preferred)
• You're an expert in analyzing data, identifying trends, summarizing findings, providing recommendations and can demonstrate quantitative decision-making skills.
• You're an all-star communicator, fluent in English (both written and verbal), with proven decision-making skills
• You have experience in MS, SQL, Excel, Access, or other data visualization tools
• Bonus points if you have experience in SAP, SAP 4HANA
• It's a plus if you have a BS/BA in business, finance, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related fields
• You have a quality, high speed internet connection at home
• You can work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (CST) / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (EST) with flexibility as needed

The salary range for this role is $65,959.40 - $89,014.66 annually ($31.71-$42.80 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
