As a Security Officer - Aviation Patrol Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, supporting mobile patrols and rapid coverage across the site while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking identification, verifying authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining visitor and/or vehicle logs per post orders.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and/or disruptive behavior, and request additional support when needed.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and notable events in written reports and/or electronic systems, maintaining accurate, timely, and detailed information.
  • Assist with contractor and delivery coordination by confirming access approvals, directing vehicles to approved routes, and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
  • Support site operations by providing directions, answering routine questions, and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
