You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and customer service. Bring a valid driver's license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements and be part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and visitor or contractor requirements per site policy.
  • Monitor and report unusual conditions such as unsecured doors or gates, damaged fencing, poor lighting, and/or restricted-area violations, and route concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Complete routine reports, incident reports, and shift logs with clear, accurate details using required systems and/or forms.
  • Support traffic flow for employee, visitor, and commercial vehicle arrivals and departures as directed, including coordinating with site contacts for deliveries and pickups.
  • Use communication equipment and established radio protocols to coordinate with site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and assistance, and help resolve minor issues while escalating concerns according to post orders.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
