Location: Clayton Court LPG Pulmonology -5216 Clayton Court, Fort Myers FL 33907 and Cape Coral location.

Department: Lee Physician Group (LPG); Pulmonology Practice

Work Type: Full Time (80 hours bi-weekly)

Shift: Days, 8:00:00 AM to 5:00:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Flexible to meet patient and business needs

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$34.97 - $45.46 / hour

This role is designed to lead and support the clinical teams at Fort Myers and Cape Coral locations.

Recent, patient-facing RN clinical experience needed to care for respiratory/pulmonary patients. Direct patient care role.

Summary

Ambulatory RN Supervisors provide direction to patient care staff to promote safe quality patient care and nursing services in a professionally supportive environment on a continuous basis by ensuring consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care.

Responsible for directing and coordinating patient care, within their defined area of responsibility based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nurses Association, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, &/or Florida Medical Association and other regulatory standards.

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care, through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development.

Collaborates with other professional disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.Previous experience in nursing leadership preferred.

Certification: Certification in appropriate specialty preferred. BLS required(American Heart Association)

License: RN currently licensed in the state of Florida.

Other: Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve the delivery of care. Exceptional communication skills.
