Are you our Inside Sales Intern?

This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager and offers a hybrid schedule based in our Auburn Hills, MI. facility. Your ability to prioritize tasks, stay detail-oriented, think resourcefully, and take ownership of your work will be essential to your success in this dynamic internship experience.

In addition to your local responsibilities, this position will participate in Atlas Copco's Global Industrial Internship Program. As a participant you'll be part of a global project within the Industrial Technique Business Area, where you join a diverse group of talented students from around the world to collaborate virtually on a business challenge together, tackling real challenges that impact our business. You'll also take part in exclusive learning sessions with senior leaders, both virtually and on-site and receive mentorship and access to internal training programs to accelerate your professional growth.

Here's how you'll make an impact:



  • You will work Full-Time in parallel to your studies within the Inside Sales department at Atlas Copco and be a part of our Inside Sales team.
  • Supported by your mentor and your colleagues, you will take part in different projects, and you are likely to manage projects yourself.
  • Your main tasks will include analyzing data to uncover selling opportunities, and new markets to prospect.
  • Developing strategies for the Sales, Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams to increase existing customer engagement, and grow sales.
  • You will gain exciting insight into an Inside Sales Representative's life.


To succeed, you will need

  • Available to join the kickoff call on 5/4 & bi-weekly meetings following.
  • Must be able to travel to Sweden from 8/23 - 8/28. Passport Required.
  • Enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • You are in your Junior or Senior year in college
  • You have experience in customer service, retail sales, or related coursework and you want to work in Sales and Marketing
  • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and self-management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS applications
  • Desire to be a part of a dynamic team
