Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for processing package/material receipts, ensuring accurate physical inventory, and preparing materials/packages for shipment. This position will also provide support to the purchasing and planning departments by performing activities that expedite the material receipt process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive packages both physically and in the ERP system
* Coordinate material receipt and shipment to alternate sites (both domestic and international)
* Coordinate new material sample receipt and approval
* Enter various data into ERP system, Excel spreadsheets, client web portal, supplier web portal
* Generate reports and exports to Excel from ERP system, review and analyze data and respond accordingly
* Compile data summaries to present to various departments or managers
* Track and follow-up on product orders
* Assist with expediting product orders to ensure adherence to inventory guidelines
* Research inventory inaccuracies and reconcile accordingly
* Effectively communicate with employees throughout the organization both verbally and in writing
* Effectively communicate with suppliers both verbally and in writing
* Inform the appropriate individuals (Buyers, Inventory Planners, Site Leads, Managers) of any issues related to material shortages that may cause an out of stock or machine down situation
* Coordinate and perform physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of inventory assets
* Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system
* Maintain physical inventory storage facility
* Work in a team environment requiring regular interaction with Managers, Site Leads, Buyers, Inventory Planners, IT, and Finance to complete assigned supply chain tasks
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
* High school Diploma or GED from an accredited school
* Three (3) year of inventory control experience in a direct or cross functional capacity

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

* Effective oral & written communications skills
* Strong customer service, vendor relations and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with minimal supervision
* Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment as needed

Computer Skills
* Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel (Able to work with pivot tables, use lookups, formulas, etc.)
* ERP System Experience

Language Skills
English (verbal, reading, writing)

Mathematical Skills
Intermediate

Other Skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Semi-conductor industry experience

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. The employee also regularly lifts and/or moves objects up to 30 pounds unassisted, 50 pounds assisted. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $17.00- $22.50 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
