Overview

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a dynamic, inspiring Regional Director of Vibrant Living (Activities) in our Virginia & Montgomery County Regionsto enhance our vibrant living programs across a portfolio of communities. This position is essential in ensuring an exceptional lifestyle experience for our residents through guidance, coaching, and training, aligned with Brightview's high standards and commitment to quality.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support and direction to vibrant living directors and teams to ensure vibrant lifestyle experiences throughout the communities and compliance with Brightview standards.
  • Perform routine site visits to monitor vibrant living operations and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, guidance, and training to vibrant living teams; escalate issues to Executive Directors, Corporate Director of Vibrant Living and/or senior management as appropriate.
  • Conduct monthly Vibrant Living Support Calls to assigned portfolio.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental collaboration, with a specific focus on sales and Vibrant Living contributions to occupancy.
  • Establish and improve existing vibrant living best practices for both continuum and stand-alone communities.
  • Train new Vibrant Living Directors to ensure a thorough onboarding experience and smooth transition to the organization; support in person and remotely as needed until new Directors can work independently.
  • Mentor and support Vibrant Living directors to attract, retain, coach, motivate and lead a high-performance team who support residents with possibilities, independence, and choice throughout their day-to-day experiences through programming and engagement.
  • Craft, execute, and/or champion new initiatives and process improvement, support robust and consistent adoption in our communities through training, problem resolution, and ongoing dialogue among stakeholders and users.
  • Provide targeted intervention, support, and recommendations to address programming challenges, resident concerns, poor satisfaction scores and/or other indicators of operational issues; collaborate with Corporate Director of Vibrant Living as appropriate to resolve issues.
  • Participate in quality assurance and One Brightview assessments to monitor community compliance with all Federal, State and BV specific standards, policies, and procedures; conduct interim audits to ensure correction of findings and ongoing maintenance of standards.
  • Partner with the Corporate Director of Vibrant Living to lead the implementation of new programs, initiatives, technologies, policies, and procedures to ensure full adoption and consistent execution.
  • Collaborate with community, regional and senior leadership from all disciplines to identify and execute on opportunities for vibrant living to support overall community operations.
  • Serve as an interim Vibrant Living Director as needed to cover staffing needs.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of Vibrant Living Directors and select other positions as appropriate.

Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years' progressive programming experience with at least four years in a leadership role. Multi-site and senior living experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, gerontology, social services, business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in the design, development, and execution of programs and activities.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
  • Strong understanding of engagement through programming and lifestyle offerings
  • Ability to be on-site at communities, including overnight and out of state travel, up to 90% of the time.
