Your Impact Will Include: * Troubleshooting and resolving advanced issues across Crestron and AMX control systems * Commissioning, debugging, and optimizing newly deployed AV solutions * Reverseengineering and modernizing legacy AV systems * Supporting enterprise video conferencing platforms (Cisco, Poly, Logitech) * Maintaining and tuning audio DSP systems (Biamp, QSC) * Supporting AVoverIP networks, switching infrastructure, and signal flow * Servicing video walls and largeformat displays (Planar, LG, Samsung, Barco, Unilumen) * Performing preventative maintenance and detailed system assessments * Recommending equipment upgrades and longterm solutions * Producing clean, professional service documentation * Acting as a trusted technical partner for enterprise clients * Mentoring junior and midlevel technicians when needed What We're Looking For This role is designed for seasoned AV professionals who bring confidence, technical depth, and strong customer presence. Required Experience & Skills: * 7-8+ years of AV integration and/or AV field service experience * Deep handson experience with Crestron and AMX * Strong commissioning, debugging, and diagnostic skills * Intermediate to advanced AV networking expertise * Advanced understanding of signal flow and lowvoltage concepts * Cabling expertise (Cat6, crimping, soldering, connectors) * Proficiency using a multimeter for testing and troubleshooting * Comfortable working independently in clientfacing environments * Ability to manage multiple service priorities without oversight * Own basic AV hand tools Preferred (NicetoHave) * CTS certification (or actively pursuing) * Experience with AVoIP environments * Video wall and digital signage expertise * Leadership or mentoring experience Education & Physical Requirements * Twoyear technical degree or equivalent realworld experience * Minimum 3 years of field service experience * Valid driver's license with clean driving record * Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in tight or elevated spaces * Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions Benefits & Perks (Designed for Field Professionals) Reimbursed mileage All travel expenses paid (hotel, airfare, rental cars, per diem, mileage, etc.) $60/month phone reimbursement 5 days PTO 6 paid holidays Companyprovided laptop Paid certification training and professional development Why Partner with TEKsystems? Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
