Description The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between business/product analysts, software development teams, and individual business units to understand how the request will affect the business processes and applications. What will you do? Participate and collaborate on an Agile development team Understand the overall business flow by working with Product Owners, subject matter experts (SMEs) and business teams on a regular basis Define improvements to business processes and products Assist decision-makers in gathering information in order to make informed decisions Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and write the detailed requirements of test cases creating and maintaining business and product artifacts What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Who would excel in this role? Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements Experience with business analysis or project management Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally SQL knowledge Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors Skills Business analysis, Agile, Requirements gathering, User stories Top Skills Details Business analysis,Agile,Requirements gathering,User stories Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
