Desktop Support Technician Intern

Are you an aspiring IT professional with a passion for helping people? We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Intern to join our team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment, focusing on delivering world-class customer service to our employees.

• Tech Lounge Support: Serve as the first point of contact at our walk-up IT Tech Lounge, assisting employees with basic questions, accessory requests, and troubleshooting.

• Office Setups: Assist with setting up workstations for new hires and office moves, ensuring monitors, docks, and peripherals are connected and ready to use.

• Hardware & Inventory: Help organize and inventory IT assets, including receiving shipments, tagging equipment, and keeping storage areas tidy.

• Basic Troubleshooting: Work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac systems.

• Customer Service: Provide friendly and prompt updates to end-users on the status of their requests.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience (retail, food service, etc.).

• Experience building your own PC or troubleshooting family/friend's computer issues.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• A curiosity to learn about enterprise technology (like Active Directory, ticketing systems, or networking) in a real-world setting.
