Responsibilities Norton Orthopedic Institute, a part of Norton Healthcare based in Louisville, KY, is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join it's growing team on the campus of Norton Clark Hospital located right across the bridge in southern Indiana. Norton Orthopedic Institute's comprehensive team of fellowship-trained physicians and advanced practice providers specializes in adult orthopedic care, including adult total joint replacement, general orthopedics, sports medicine and orthopedic oncology. The team provides services throughout Greater Louisville, supporting Norton Healthcare's system of seven adult acute-care facilities in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Norton Healthcare was the first system in the country to be designated an Advanced Center of Excellence for Orthopedics & Spine by DNV. Norton Healthcare provides nearly 60% of the health care for Greater Louisville, and accounts for nearly 47% of the inpatient and outpatient orthopedic market share. Norton Orthopedic Institute currently uses advanced technology and continues to evaluate opportunities to further support physicians and practitioners. About the Position:
The Advance Practice Provider provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnosing, prescribing treatment, managing/evaluating patient care and functioning as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
