Position SummaryThis faculty assistant position will include working on (1) reports to community organizations about research and (2) academic research publications. The topic area of this research is environmental social science, and the position includes working on research projects with organizations such as nature centers and Indigenous nations. The data in the research will be primarily qualitative.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong applicants will have experience working on research with and for community organizations, and will have experience in environment-focused classes, either in interdisciplinary sustainability classes and/or in other environmental social sciences. Strong applicants will also have a demonstrable ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal oversight, and to produce professional formal documents, such as reports to community organizations. Further assets include experience working in environmental community organizations and strong communication skills.
