Position SummaryThe Theatre and Dance Department is seeking student House Managers to help assist with our Spring 2026 Production calendar. This position oversees
all activities related to Front of House leading up to and during our live performances. This position will work primarily leading up to and during events and includes any theatre front-of-house set up, communication with administration and technical sides of the department, extensive
customer service, and execution of various tasks unique to each performance.
This position may also assist with special projects and events related to the Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.



Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will:

  • Experience working in the performing arts or arts
    related degree preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on
    customer service and de-escalation.
  • Basic computer skills
    including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as an ability to learn new programs used by department.
