As an Allied Universal officer at a financial institution location, you will perform unarmed patrols and routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document activity, respond to alarms and/or unusual conditions, and escalate concerns with integrity through teamwork in a caring, agile, reliable, innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including public areas, workspaces, ATM and vestibule areas, and exterior perimeter to help to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services when needed.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by site policy, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
