Overview & Position Summary

SHAWOOD, a brand of Sekisui House, is one of the world's largest and most respected homebuilders driven by a singular purpose: to make home the happiest place on earth. In this role, you help bring that mission to life by elevating the homebuying journey through thoughtful, human-centered experiences inspired by SHAWOOD's Japanese heritage, craftsmanship, and design philosophy. Partnering closely with regional sales leadership, the position supports community activation initiatives, leads meaningful buyer engagement milestones, and helps execute strategic sales events that drive qualified traffic, conversion, and referral growth. By delivering concierge-level customer interactions, strengthening relationships throughout the buyer journey, and leveraging engagement insights, the role enhances customer experience while reinforcing long-term brand loyalty.

Primary Responsibilities

* Partner with the Regional Sales Leader to drive community activation initiatives that increase qualified traffic, conversion, and referral growth.

* Serve as a brand ambassador, confidently articulating SHAWOOD's Japanese heritage, craftsmanship, sustainability principles, and Humanity First philosophy to enhance buyer confidence.

* Lead and execute key buyer milestone experiences that deepen emotional connection and strengthen long-term brand loyalty.

* Plan and activate SHAWOOD divisional community and New Community Opening (NCO) events that generate sales momentum.

* Collaborate with sales teams to improve lead response, follow-up consistency, and buyer conversion performance.

* Deliver premium, concierge-level interactions within model homes and Experience Center to create differentiated buyer experiences.

* Partner and collaborate with sales team in compiling and curating content for customer engagement milestones.

* Build and foster meaningful relationships that drive referrals, repeat engagement and long-term advocacy.

* Track customer engagement and performance metrics to continuously elevate customer experience.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Required:

* 3 years of relevant experience in homebuilding or real estate sales and marketing

* Active real estate license in CA

Preferred:

* Prior experience with premium/luxury product sales

Skills & Competencies

* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

* Ability to build rapport and deliver a personalized, high quality customer experience.

* Skill in managing multiple prospects, follow-up actions, and scheduling needs.

* Ability to explain product features, construction concepts, and design elements clearly to customers.

* Proficiency in CRM systems and maintaining accurate information.

* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and brand consistency.

* Ability to problem-solve using prior experience, judgment, and situational analysis.

* Collaborative mindset with cross-functional partners.

* Adaptability to evolving customer needs, schedules, and product updates.

Working Conditions

* Primarily field-based within active SHAWOOD communities throughout Northern and Southern California.

* Up to 50% travel within the West Coast region is required to support community activations and regional initiatives.

* The standard work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, aligned with peak sales and customer engagement periods.

Physical Requirements

* Frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing within and around model homes and property sites.

* Ability to operate standard office and computer equipment.

* Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

* Clear verbal communication and auditory capabilities to engage with customers and team members effectively.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $68,000-$82,000
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Quarterly Production
