The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Pediatric RN Residency is dedicated to providing a 12-month foundational program for the graduate or otherwise eligible nurse to provide the support and knowledge to grow into a competent pediatric professional practitioner. The Acute Care Care Float Pool is a Unit without Walls at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital! We are one of the few residency programs in the country that hires new graduate nurses directly into a Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool. With more than seven successful cohorts and high retention rates, this program offers a unique opportunity to build broad clinical experience across multiple specialty areas. Float Pool nurses support Surgical Neurosciences within the Institute for Brain Protection Sciences (IBPS), Hematology-Oncology in the Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute, Pediatric Medicine (the largest acute care unit), and the NICU caring for Level III and IV patients. This role provides exposure to diverse patient populations-from infants to young adults-and a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses, creating a strong, well-rounded foundation in pediatric acute care. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire * Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Salary Range: Minimum 35.02/hour - Maximum 35.02/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
