Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Myersville, Maryland. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately pulling parts to fill orders, packaging orders, and shipping orders to internal and external customers. Seeking applicants with forklift, pallet jack experience, preferred; High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Requirements for the Warehouse Associate position include: Self-starter able to work with limited supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and in a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient computer technology skills, including the ability to use company software to perform warehouse functions. Must be able to work additional hours to meet business and customer demands. Physical requirements must be met for the Warehouse Associate job, including frequently standing/walking for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Starting Compensation Range: $20.69 - $30.19 per hour Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other business needs. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include participation in performance-based incentive programs, such as discretionary or non-discretionary plans.
