Extension Program Coordinator I - Salt Lake County Requisition ID: 2026-10017 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Salt Lake City Category: Program Management & Support Position Type: Benefited Full-Time Job Classification: Exempt College: Extension Department: Extension Home & Community Advertised Salary: $44,880 plus an excellent benefits package Overview USU Extension in Salt Lake County is seeking a highly motivated, upbeat individual for an Extension Program Coordinator I position within the Home and Community Department. The person in this role will serve as the curriculum development leader for the Salt Lake County Youth and Family Resilience Team. In this role, they will independently plan, coordinate, and deliver resilience-focused educational programming to youth and families, oversee the development of new lessons as indicated by partner input, and provide coaching to facilitate effective lesson selection. Additionally, they will strategically expand program delivery to new schools and community partners throughout Salt Lake County by assessing needs and recommending instructional priorities. All lessons are taught in person during the school day, in afterschool programs, during family nights at schools, and through youth summer programs. This is a grant-funded position and continued employment is contingent upon ongoing grant funding. Responsibilities
