Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Trainer to join our dynamic team. This position will support the Program Manager Marine Air-Ground Task Force Command and Control (PM MAGTF C2) Air Command & Control and Sensor Netting (AC2SN) portfolio by analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and delivering training products. This role supports the development and execution of training in accordance with Marine Corps instructional and training standards and provides direct support to operational units through formal and informal training delivery methods. This is a full time, Hybrid position out of Bloomington, IN.

The position requires both technical expertise in tactical data links and network systems, as well as experience in instructional systems design and training delivery for military systems.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, manage, and support training products for the PM MAGTF C2 AC2 portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver training in accordance with: NAVMC 1553.1A Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education Handbook, MCO 1553.2B Management of Marine Corps Formal Schools and Training Detachments, Air Command & Control and Sensor Netting (AC2SN) Configuration Management Plan (September 2023), Marine Corps College of Distance Education and Training Design and Development Standards (CDET DDS).
  • Develop and conduct multiple training delivery formats including: New Equipment Training (NET), Delta Training, On-Site Familiarization Training, Over-the-Shoulder Refresher Training.
  • Provide training and operational support to Marine Corps personnel using AC2 portfolio systems.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and update of training materials and documentation.
  • Support configuration management and updates to training materials as system capabilities evolve.
  • Participate in technical and management review meetings related to training products and system capabilities.
  • Provide on-site training and support to operational units as required.
  • Travel to support training delivery, technical meetings, and program coordination activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience configuring and maintaining tactical data links, including: Link 16, Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP) A, B, and C.
  • Experience with Cisco router and switch hardware and Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS).
  • Experience managing and administering operating systems within virtualized environments.
  • Experience delivering technical training or developing instructional materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with military personnel in operational environments.
  • Ability to travel as required to support training and program meetings.
  • Experience with Marine Corps command and control systems.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
