Job Objective:
Manage crude oil scheduling for North Dakota gathering systems, trunkline assets, and rail loading terminal operations, while also supporting gas and water gathering systems.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee shipper nominations from receipt through operational execution, including confirmation with connecting carriers and coordination of control room orders.
- Manage and execute monthly and daily scheduling activities for crude oil, gas, and water gathering systems, including trunkline and rail loading terminal operations.
- Monitor scheduled versus actual volumes and proactively manage imbalances to ensure accurate execution and system integrity.
- Track and maintain accurate shipper inventory balances and ensure allocations align with contractual commitments and system movements.
- Confirm and validate shipper allocations in coordination with accounting and revenue departments and assist in resolving invoice-related volume discrepancies.
- Partner with field operations to coordinate planned and unplanned downtime, ensuring safe and efficient adjustments to normal pipeline operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pipeline tariffs, Transportation Service Agreements (TSAs), and contractual volume commitments.
- Maintain and analyze historical movement data to support accounting, forecasting, revenue reporting, and business development initiatives.
- Communicate operational constraints, capacity limitations, and maintenance impacts to internal stakeholders and shippers as necessary.
- Provide after-hours availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to address operational issues impacting North Dakota systems.

Qualifications:
- Five (5) to ten (10)years minimum oil and gas scheduling experience, with ten (10)years minimum in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high pressure work environment which requires the ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills required
- Familiarity with the EBBs of major interstate and intrastate gas pipelines as it relates to scheduling and confirming gas
- Familiarity with midstream gathering and processing of natural gas business
- On-call availability for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Quorum Tips preferred but not required, pipeline EBB's
- Proficiency in the use and application of:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in accounting/business or related experience.
