This is a paid Apprenticeship, offering $15/hour.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Junior, Senior or recent graduate at an accredited college or university

  • Located in the state of Iowa

  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week, September 7, 2026 - May 22, 2027

  • Ability to spend at least 1 day a week on site in our DSM office

  • Access to your own housing and transportation to/from the DSM office

About the Role:

As a Successful Farming Marketing Apprentice, you will work closely with the Successful Farming marketing team to create and update marketing materials and support advertising client-facing initiatives. You will help recap complex sold marketing campaigns that incorporate multiple elements, such as print, podcast, and digital for clients and business partners, providing clear insights and recommendations. You will also contribute to an internal research panel project with a goal of expanding our marketing research capabilities. This role supports the business development side of the organization and offers hands-on exposure to how integrated marketing programs are developed, executed, and evaluated.

Apprentice Responsibilities will Include:

  • Creating, updating, and organizing marketing and sales support materials

  • Recapping integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, podcast, and other channels, including performance insights and recommendations

  • Supporting an internal research panel project from beginning to end, including participant recruiting, outreach, survey sampling, data cleanup, and assisting with reporting.

About You:

Candidates for this role should have:

  • An interest in marketing and/or sales prior coursework, internships, or student-level experience is a plus

  • A basic understanding of digital media concepts (CPMs, CTR and common digital media industry terminology) or a willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Open to new challenges and excited to grow within a fast-paced, expanding, and constantly evolving organization

  • Creative and driven self-starter that can take direction and run with it, asking questions up front to ensure you're able to complete the task successfully

  • Motivated problem solver who will proactively troubleshoot and create solution

  • Experience with Google & Microsoft Suites

  • Some experience with digital media is a plus but not required
