IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Hopewell, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports the execution of Enterprise Data Management, Data Privacy, and Global Records Management Standards. The ideal candidate will function as a liaison between data executives and data management stakeholders, working to identify and close gaps in data management standards adherence while monitoring key performance indicators and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Data Privacy Standards, and/or Global Records Management (GRM) Standards, and data quality and control practices
• Function as a liaison between the data management executive and stakeholders that carry out data management tasks
• Identify gaps in data management standards adherence and work with appropriate partners to develop plans to close gaps
• Monitor key performance indicators and internal controls, partnering with stakeholders to create an infrastructure and processes that adhere to EDM/GRM standards
• Work with other groups as needed, including Compliance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Technology to ensure effective controls over data
• Serve as a subject matter expert for adherence with Capture, Transport, Use, and EDT for EDM and GRM standards
• Partner with leads to provide oversight to create action plans to address EDM/GRM standards adherence remediation gaps
• Facilitate annual EDM Standards & Adherence inspections
• Educate, report, and monitor EDM/GRM standards adherence
• Research and resolve EDM metric breaches

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of financial industry experience required, preferably with a Finance, Technology, or Data role
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks; works in a self-directed manner and takes a proactive approach to job responsibilities
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity, and deliver solutions on deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in performing data analysis tasks
• Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns
• Collaboration and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint, and Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint

Desired skills:

• Experience with EDM and/or GRM Policy and Standards and Data Privacy

Pay range: $42.09 - $50.09 per hour
