About the Role

The Digital ERP PMO Lead is responsible for leading, and continuously improving the SAP/ERP Project Management Office (PMO). This role provides governance, standards, reporting, and execution oversight across projects, Sustain & Improve while enabling alignment to business objectives, delivery methodologies, and organizational priorities.

This position offers flexible work arrangement options, including on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote in most locations within the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead PMO governance, standards, tools, and best practices across projects and programs
  • Define and enforce project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) to ensure consistent execution and reporting
  • Provide executive-level visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, and financials
  • Drive disciplined decision-making through standardized governance forums and escalation paths
  • Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, and sequencing of initiatives aligned to strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting (e.g., schedule, cost, RAID, resource utilization)
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, PowerBI)
  • Lead enterprise-level RAID management, ensuring timely identification, escalation, and resolution of risks and issues
  • Proactively manage cross-functional dependencies and resource constraints
  • Facilitate mitigation planning and corrective actions for at-risk initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in implementation and/or upgrades of SAP
  • Minimum of 4 global SAP end-to-end implementation experiences covering all phases of deployment from explore to hypercare
  • Recent experience leading SAP deployment strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple value streams, and multiple projects and programs, to identify and resolve conflicts relating to program management and execution
  • Demonstrated experience in functionally leading, influencing, navigating ambiguity, conflict management, and communication skills in a complex project space with a diverse group of associates in multiple locations
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical (IT/developers) and non-technical audiences; including the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner to gain commitment, remove roadblocks, identify/resolve conflicts, and relate business impact and value for leadership
  • Ability to be flexible and effective in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining strategic focus and operational plan alignment
  • Ability to travel 30% of time

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Manufacturing industry
  • Experience championing efforts to create new capabilities; ability to envision a future and influence others to commit to that view or approach

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
