What you will be doing: Under limited supervision, apply engineering principles to product development and launch (PD&L), ensuring quality standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the entirety of the manufacturing process. Provide support for the execution of product launches and accommodating project teams by leading activities at the manufacturing site while adhering to the project schedule. A PD&L engineer is responsible for providing cost estimates, database support, PPAP submissions, PFMEA creation, standard work documentation and other activities as needed. Partners with operations leaders and other stakeholders at the plant to ensure a successful launch and handoff as the project transitions from concept to production. Who you are: The ideal candidate will be curious and eager to learn about a broad range of subjects. Organized and disciplined to execute project deliverables thoroughly and on time. Someone who can evaluate parts and processes in a real-world manufacturing environment against cost and quality metrics. Someone who can initiate conversations and drive problem solving among leaders and peers. Finally, a person that is honest and transparent about all aspects of project work including the challenges and failures. Qualifications: Skills/Abilities
Education * 4 year degree in an engineering discipline Experience
