Title: Emergency Response & Security Coordinator
Location: Lake Jackson, TX

Salary: $94,000 - $119,500
Schedule: 9/80's; 5/8's

Focus: The Emergency Response & Security Coordinator is responsible for providing Emergency Response and Security training to all applicable personnel, coordinating and implementing the emergency response and Security management system including assisting plants with drill development and critique, ensuring correct protections are identified, and coordinating with contracted emergency response organization. The Emergency Response & Security Coordinator will also assist with training and communications on security policies and topics to ensure site personnel are prepared for potential security incidents. In addition, they will respond, investigate and document security related events across the site. They will also provide technical Emergency Responder and Security coaching and expertise to the broader organization.

Emergency Response & Security Coordinator Essential Job Functions:

  • Facilitate Emergency Response and Security Training for the TXO Site
  • Assist with training and communications on Emergency Response and Security policies and topics to ensure site personnel are prepared for potential security incidents
  • Ensure that relevant policies and procedures are current and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical expertise (specifically emergency response & security) and coaching to facilitate broad accountability of the H/S process
  • Investigate/document security and emergency response incidents and prepare reports in accordance with the company policies and submit by required deadlines
Emergency Response & Security Coordinator Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree* in Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of emergency response or security experience; chemical manufacturing or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Previous criminal investigation experience preferred
  • Ability to offer guidance on all aspects of Emergency Response and Security issues to include: State and Federal applicable laws
  • Security, Emergency Response, Drill & Rescue Planning, Fire Protection Systems, Behavior-Based Safety Processes knowledge preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
