What You'll Do:


The Returns Operations Specialist supports distribution center leadership in managing key warehouse processes, including the handling of product exceptions and inventory movements. This role helps ensure products are accurately received, inspected, recorded, and dispositioned in accordance with established procedures. The position supports audits across warehouse operations, promotes operational efficiency, protects inventory accuracy, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.



  • Processes returned products by receiving, staging, inspecting, and verifying condition, accuracy, and compliance with quality and operational standards.
  • Processes and documents returns in inventory and order management systems, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate return and inventory records.
  • Repacks, relabels, and returns approved products to inventory and coordinates the consolidation and disposition of damaged or non-conforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitors return workflows, inventory status, and processing timelines to ensure accuracy, timely resolution, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Performs audits and spot checks across inbound, outbound, inventory, and value-added operations to ensure compliance with SOPs and quality requirements.
  • Supports and collaborates with cross-functional partners on investigations related to customer complaints, order discrepancies, and recurring operational or quality issues.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports return activity and audit results, identifies trends and process gaps, and escalates operational, financial, or compliance risks to management.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and assists in validating corrective actions.
  • Trains and supports warehouse staff on returns processes, system usage, and quality standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Eastern Time. This is an on-site position.



What We're Looking For:



  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics-related functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working with warehouse management or inventory systems; familiarity with enterprise or database systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes and identify discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and familiarity with continuous improvement or root cause analysis concepts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and escalate issues as needed in a fast-paced operational environment.

What you may be doing:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
