Position Summary

Coordinate stocking and re-stocking of sales floor. Review sales and perform regular inventories to determine reorder needs within guidelines. Coordinate a variety of activities between buying office and department manager. Coordinate daily sales floor/stock room operations within guidelines (e.g., train, assign and review work of student and temporary employees; arrange work schedules and coordinate work flow). Assist with receiving (e.g. process incoming stock for sales floor or move to stock location). Assist manager with scheduling and returns process.



Qualifications

Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
2+ years retail experience; experience providing customer service. Experience with point of sales cash register.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in college store or large volume store.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. Familiarity with database and online tracking systems; ability to assign and review work to casual and student staff. Comfortable working with the public.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.329. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
