Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Security Management Professional providing support to the NC3 Contract.

The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN).

The NCO Division is responsible for the execution of all the support functions within the Directorate. The support functions are comprised of Human Resources, Training, Commander's Support Staff, Facility Management, Security, and Information Technology (IT) support.

This is a full time position located at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM.



Responsibilities

The candidate shall provide multi-disciplined security support to AFNWC/NC facilities and organizations. The position will provide "day-to-day" support for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Security Enterprise to include integrating personnel security, industrial security, information security, acquisition security, special access programs (SAP), counter-insider threat (C-InT), and the associated security education, training, and awareness (SETA). This framework aligns with physical security, operations security (OPSEC), counterintelligence, intelligence (Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)), information operations, foreign disclosure, security cooperation, technology transfer, export control, anti-terrorism, force protection, and is informed by other security-related efforts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

    Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence
  • Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
  • Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
  • Perform destruction of classified materials
  • Process magnetic media for accountability
  • Reproduction support for classified materials
  • Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control
  • Assist in the processing of inbound data and outbound data transfer files
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal customers
  • Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing
  • Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices
  • Escort facility visitors and maintains associated logs
  • Assist in the preparation of facility access control badges
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections
  • Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control
  • Perform data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer sponsored billets and quota information
  • Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element
  • Follow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide support for the security awareness and education programs
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative
  • Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions
  • Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections of government organizations and industry
  • Implement Top Secret Control for accountable material and associated correspondence
  • Prepare and/or process inbound and outbound classified mail, faxes, courier packages and receipt
  • Prepare, process, and/or review Program Access Request (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility
  • Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires
  • Conduct Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access
  • Perform data entry and record checks in the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) and maintains all customer sponsored personnel access information current
  • Perform indoctrinations


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI-ICD704 eligibility, eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information and be willing to submit to Counterintelligence polygraph if requested.

Education: BA/BS Degree

Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications

Education: MA/MS Degree

Years of experience: 10+ year of experience in related field

Certifications: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Special Program Security Certification (SPSC). Certifications may supplement years of experience if already obtained.

Technical Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Security Management Principles
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisition Program Security
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple functional areas of Security (Industrial, Physical, PERSEC, INFOSEC, Cyber)
