Financial Analytics Specialist-Denials, Revenue Integrity/Coding Admin

The Financial Analytics Specialist-Denials serves as a primary liaison between Revenue Cycle operational leaders and other clinical/service line leaders by providing analytical interpretation of payer remittance postings for denial codes, aggregates the information into trend reports for leaders, assists leaders with developing self-service tools to monitor, trend, and reduce denial risks, provides facilitation of regular Denial Committee meetings of leaders to collaboratively share findings, recommendations, and strategies to reduce denials within the organization.

Required:

• Five years of experience in hospital or practice billing and collections
• Three years of experience in hospital/practice system reports
• Bachelor Degree

Desired:

• Three years of Revenue Cycle Management or Healthcare Data Analytics
• Bachelor in Healthcare, Business or Finance Administration/Management or Master in Business Administration/Healthcare Management
• CPC or equivalent; Epic Certified
