Job Description

Job Summary:



Provide proper flow of schedule/plan and finished goods stock, shipment to achieve customer satisfaction, production, inventory. Must meet metrics such as Quality, OTD goals. Seeking expertise in all aspects of materials, planning including build plans, and various MRP/ERP systems. Uses communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure on time order delivery - serves a variety of customers



Job Responsibilities:



  • Ensure plan and schedule alignment with MPS
  • Manage production plan, work order priorities, short- and long-term capacity plans, and reporting
  • Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided to maintain production. Proactively mitigates issues with production constraints. Create and release production orders as per plan.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Quality, Program Management and Engineering to review execution of production schedules, build plans, backorder status, and other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling
  • Report production status for program specific milestones
  • Ensure MRP integrity is maintained
  • Ensure quarterly revenue plan is achieved and managed
  • Implement planning strategies to mitigate plan and schedule challenges
  • Recommend and execute cost savings and efficiency improvements by identifying opportunities in material usage variance and yield
  • Develop, manage, and maintain tools to manage key metrics, review variances, and understand drivers and impact of changes. Utilize tools to assess risk
  • Lead project teams on continuous improvement projects. Monitor progress and collaborate with other departments.
  • Process engineering change orders and provide impact to schedule to MPS
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant hands-on experience required
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or related supply chain functions
  • Experience in ERP/MRP systems
  • Experience maintaining MRP data integrity, including planning parameters, lead times, and inventory controls
  • Team Player: Collaborates with key stakeholders, gains commitment to meet timelines and influences others without direct authority.
  • Driver and Goal Oriented: With limited guidance, identifies tasks needed to support desired outcomes, and challenges potential delays to drive necessary actions for results.
  • Organized: Demonstrated ability to stay organized with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented. Time management and workload prioritization capabilities are key.
  • Flexible: Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited guidance from Manager. Possesses a positive questioning attitude, able and willing to dive into the why.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Experience in advance planning tools. Power BI experience a plus
  • ASCM (APICS) certification preferred
  • Experience in working Lean six sigma
  • Experience in working Defense industry preferred
  • Experience in advanced Excel functions
  • Experience in production and capacity planning

Pay Grade Range
Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position
$65,200.00 - $130,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
$73,000.00 - $146,000.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
$76,900.00 - $153,900.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ
