Nursing Manager of Surgical Services

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Surgery (OR) Nursing Manager in Cushing, OK.

Monday through Friday, no weekends, holidays, or on-call!

You'll be stepping into a hands-on manager role, working alongside a team of 12 to 15 OR staff, supporting them day-to-day, and helping fill gaps as needed.

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. In 2025, the hospital will add inpatient behavioral health services.

The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license
• A minimum of 3 years Surgical Services RN experience
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified within 30 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified within 30 days of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous Charge or leadership experience
