Job Title: Kitting (Warehouse) Associate Job Description: THE ROLE: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Kitting (Warehouse) Associate to join our team. In this role you will ensure finished and semi-finished products and materials are handled properly and accurately to support the operations of a 24X7 manufacturing facility. Using a RF gun and pick lists you will assemble and/or put away components that are needed for manufacturing departments. This position collaborates with procurement, scheduling, quality, manufacturing, and logistics. HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 3rd SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY WHAT YOU'LL DO: Conducts scheduled picks of requested components/materials,additionalparts, reservations, resupply materials, andconsolidatesand delivers them to various manufacturing departments for assembly or production orders. Processesexpeditedorders or damaged parts,identifiedwithblue sheets,with urgency and accuracy. Gatherskitting materials and labels for every work order through SAP. Enters kitting order details and specifications into SAP and other ERP systems to uphold precise inventory and order records. Ensures all picked products adhere to packagingspecifications;promptlyescalatesquality issues when necessary. Packages finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from ordersutilizinga combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy. Labelskits appropriately andensuresproperdocumentation is completed foreffectivetraceability. Inspectkits for visible quality defects or inconsistencies and escalate any issues to kitting lead and supervisor asappropriate. Promptly escalates any inventory discrepancies or issuesencounteredwhen pickingkits. Safely and effectivelyutilizeselectric pallet jacks and WAVEmobile equipment to support dailyobjectiveswithin the company and kitting department. Collaboratewith otherwarehouseteam members and other departments to meet production schedules and customer demands. Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly andtimely(i.e.Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels,ComponentSheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).Maintainsaccurateattribute/variable charts of rejected materials. Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor. Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals. WHAT WE SEEK: Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship. High School Diploma or equivalentrequired At least one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred. Familiarity with SAP softwareand/or other inventory software tomaintainrecords and input data is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation: $20-$24 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
