Nationality Requirements Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Position Summary Develops plans and leads software engineering teams to ensure optimum use of time and resources and provides technical leadership, ensuring that team performance is aligned and contributes to the overall goals of the business unit. Serves as a subject matter expert and influencer to make complex decisions based on advanced analytical expertise to develop innovative solutions and supporting the decision-making process. Typically reports to a manager. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.Job Description Provides consultation on complex projects and provides direction for adaptation of new engineering technologies and techniques, including collaborating across business units, to deliver practical innovations in systems and processes. Supports the bid and proposal process by leading across-functional team to generate a large portion or the entirety of the technical proposal. Remains current on trends and emerging technologies and tools. May include safety, environmental protection and compliance. Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 15+ years experience in a range of roles within a relevant complex engineering environment.May be required to maintain security clearance.
