Nationality Requirements Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Position Summary Ultra Maritime is searching for a highly motivated and detail oriented Principal Systems Engineer to support the development of Sonobuoy and related systems. Working closely with RF, Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustic, and Software Engineers, the Principal Systems Engineer will guide the development of the system through all parts of the engineering life cycle. The Principal Systems Engineer is expected to provide system level trade-space assessments of approaches working with the Project Engineer to determine the benefit trade-offs. At Ultra Maritime, the Principal Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to guide the development and selection of key technologies for the Navy and will have the opportunity to work with complex software algorithms and digital signal processing hardware. The Principal Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic approaches for future proposals, IR&D, and additional development activities.Job Description Primary Skills:
