What You'll Do: Elevate Workplace Experience: Design and deliver an exceptional onsite experience by owning daily office operations, vendor relationships, health and safety protocols, and strategic space planning. Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations across the site, managing supplies, optimizing meeting spaces, coordinating security, and maintaining the general rhythm of the workplace. Strategic Vendor Management: Cultivate strong partnerships with onsite vendors (catering, cleaning, security, events) to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency. Health & Safety Champion: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, run proactive safety programs, and champion a safe, inclusive workplace for all. Space Optimization: Collaborate with facilities teams on space design, moves, expansions, and occupancy planning to support a growing and evolving workforce. Cross-Functional Catalyst: Act as the connective tissue between various internal teams, central facilities, and other partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise, ensuring minimal friction and maximum clarity in daily operations. Culture Cultivation: Contribute to an inclusive, welcoming environment where employees can do their best work, elevating the culture through thoughtful initiatives. What You'll Bring: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a role focused on workplace operations, office management, or similar. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine people-first mindset, capable of building trust and effectively supporting teams across all levels and functions. Demonstrated experience operating in startup or scale-up environments, thriving amidst ambiguity, speed, and rapid change. Proven track record as a strong generalist/all-rounder, adept at managing diverse responsibilities across operations, vendor relations, and facilities. Ability to support fast-moving, dynamic teams, proactively solving problems as priorities shift and new challenges emerge. Exceptional autonomy and ownership, with a proven ability to anticipate needs and drive initiatives to completion without heavy oversight. A kind, approachable demeanor, confident in leading initiatives and comfortable supporting teams ranging from 100 to 2500 people, adjusting your approach accordingly. A natural problem solver who enjoys making things work better than you found them, energized by the opportunity to create a positive impact. Bonus Points For: Experience as an Executive Assistant or Workplace/Office Manager. Leadership experience in hospitality or guest services. Background in project or program management. Prior experience in start-up or scale-up operations, particularly within tech or high-growth environments. Experience supporting organizations through periods of rapid growth, significant change, or IPO-level scaling. | |
