Job Description

Summary: Responsible for executing and ensuring the integrity of the master production schedule by verifying the timely completion / receipt of planning, tooling, materials, details and sub-assemblies for one or more cost centers. Initiates investigation and involves the key personnel required to resolve problems that may impact scheduled shipments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

  • Releases all assemblies, sub-assemblies and shop orders to the floor.
  • Reviews production plan for appropriate action to take or reschedules assembly orders when unable to release due to shortages.
  • Works with all departments that support production (i.e. Contracts, Quality, Purchasing) to meet customer commitments and resolve order scheduling issues.
  • Proposes and gets authorization for a recovery plan on delinquent orders when normal lead time is insufficient to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinates shipping plan and manufacturing plan with production supervisor.
  • Coordinating production schedules, and verifyinventory in order to meet master schedule requirements management.
  • Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Regularly reviews / maintains MRP data integrity.
  • Managing the scheduling and timeliness of the production process.
  • Collaborating with various teams to meet production goals efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on production progress against plan and update plans accordingly.
  • Assist with demand forecasting.
  • Maintain monthly Build Plan
  • Other duties with the work as assigned.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED with minimum two years related experience and/or combination of education and experience in one or morephases of production control, scheduling, expediting and record keeping.

Annual Target Salary = $75k

Monday - Friday 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
