Vantor Technologies is seeking an entry-level Research Analyst who can conduct in-depth research and populate table data, while simultaneously collaborating with other Vantor team members for technical inputs. Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Research specific topics and inputting discovered data into tables.

  • Leverage basic research and writing abilities.

  • Work collaboratively on a small team working on the same deliverable.

  • Serve as a member of a small team assigned with developing country wide geospatial datasets for various clients.

  • Identify, describe, and cite new or existing data sources that comprise each dataset.

  • It is imperative that you possess strong research and writing skills, since the deliverables produced will be submitted to high-profile customers.

  • In a rapid execution environment, you will leverage your professional communication skills with management frequently to discuss research progress, challenges, and technical requirements for each report.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Bachelor's degree (any field) strongly preferred but will accept current students and years of experience as substitute.

  • Experience conducting in-depth research (social, economic, political, defense, environmental, etc.).

  • Ability to author professional reports based on research conducted.

  • Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Possess excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to break down complex problems or concepts.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of style-guides.

  • Ability and willingness to adopt new skills in support of team and personal professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of GIS and applications.

Pay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:

$52,000.00 - $75,000.00
