POSITION SUMMARY:

Sugarbush is seeking a full-time Facilities Tech to join our team. We are looking for friendly and flexible team players that understand attention to detail as we maintain the cleanliness and appearance of resort properties. This is a full-time, year-round position that pays $18-$20/hour depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including snow shoveling in winter and preventative maintenance across all resort properties.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with little supervision. The ability to work with other departments and have a courteous demeaner is essential when interacting with guests.
  • Perform evening shift building rounds - check pool, mechanical rooms checklist, mitigate slip& fall hazards.
  • Will also assist with special event set-up and breakdown.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in building trades is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, on a 2-way radio, and on the telephone.
  • Will need a valid driver license, clean driving record and must pass a motor vehicle background check, as company vehicle use is expected.
  • High School Education or equivalency degree required.
  • Must be able to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions, i.e., rain, snow, wind. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
