Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves joining a dynamic team as a Product Owner, responsible for coordinating development teams with clients and line of business stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. The position serves as a key liaison for resolving complex service requests and translating business strategy into actionable work programs. This role has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage a mix of simple to complex features within development teams
  • Serve as a single point of contact and escalation point between the client/business area and the development team
  • Coordinate the development of technology solutions appropriate to business needs and objectives
  • Oversee the implementation of programs, projects, or processes
  • Translate business strategy into work programs and processes
  • Adhere to enterprise standards for documentation in software delivery tools (Jira, Remedy, Confluence, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or project manager
  • 5+ years of experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology, successfully delivering projects
  • Experience with Scrum, sprint planning, burn down and velocity reporting, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives
  • Strong background in a disciplined software development life cycle (SDLC) process
  • Experience in design principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira
  • Ability to manage scope, estimation, project status, reporting, and escalation
  • Experience gathering requirements into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases, and scenarios
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology partners

Desired skills:

  • Good understanding of financial/banking processes and domain
  • Good communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Pay range: $49.46 - $57.46 per Hour
