Job Summary

This position is responsible for oversight of all aspects of daily operations of a multi-specialty outpatient office, including registration, reception, medical records, billing and ancillary support. Fiscal responsibility and Responsibility for office compliance with regulatory and Medical Center Standards.

This position is located at our Comprehensive Family Care Center, CFCC, at 1621 Eastchester Road. Bronx, NY 10461

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of the site income, expense and capital budgets.
  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the site.
  • Review and approve all major expense requests for purchasing, accounts payable, staffing and payroll.
  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, develop and negotiate payment arrangements and incentive payments to the physician staff.
  • Ensure site compliance with JCAHO and article 28 standards.
  • Delegate operational and budgetary responsibilities to supervising staff.
  • Hiring, termination, progressive discipline and training of exempt staff.
  • Provide physician staff with the operational support needed to increase patient thru-put, revenue and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure physical plants meet needs of Medical Group.
  • Represent the Medical Group in interdepartmental relationships and interactions throughout the Medical Center.
  • Assist in the development of the Medical Group's strategic plan.
