SUMMARY: We are hiring a part-time research assistant (RA) for our team. Our projects use innovate behavioral and digital health approaches to improve health outcomes for marginalized and minoritized adolescents and young adults. Our projects currently focus on sexual health of sexual minority and gender diverse youth (e.g., HIV prevention interventions, comprehensive school-based sexual health education implementation, improving communication with trusted adults), and mental health of Black, Indigenous, and Youth of Color (BIPOC youth) (e.g., school resource officers in public schools). Our work is funded by the NIH, Bradley and Hasbro Children's Hospitals, Advance Clinical and Translational Research (CTR), and Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine. The RA will participate in multiple elements of the team under the supervision and mentoring of the principal investigator (PI), Jack Rusley, MD, MHS, including:
QUALIFICATIONS:
SETTING, HOURS, AND DURATION: This position is hybrid, meaning some in-person time is expected (i.e., recruiting participants, occasional in-person meetings). We expect applicants to commit to a one-year position, with potential for extension based on performance of the employee and future grant funding.
