TITLE: Simulation & Experiential Learning Production Specialist REPORTING RELATIONSIHP: Manager, Simulation & Experiential Learning Administration BASIC FUNCTION: Coordinate the production, maintenance, and support of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Simulation and Experiential Learning (SEL) courses and content offerings, including activity setup and production, quality assurance testing, media and asset preparation, e-commerce setup and maintenance, product launch and support, course reporting, and database entry. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, adult education, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required. EXPERIENCE: At least two years' related experience in the coordination, development, and support of web-based, educational projects. Experience in adult learning/online education and mobile application support, coordination, and delivery preferred. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills required. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, take initiative, pay close attention to detail, work both independently and as part of a team, collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents, and promote and maintain a positive and cooperative team-oriented work environment with a commitment to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued and respected. Strong technical acumen essential with proficiency in MS Office, website maintenance software (e.g., SharePoint), databases, knowledge of HTML, and the ability to learn and apply new technologies; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., WebEx, Teams) preferred. Some evening/weekend work and travel required. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $32.53/hr - $34.35/hr. Compensation decisions take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, business needs, and organizational policies.
