Job Details:
The School of Medicine is searching for a Graduate Programs Coordinator for the Macon, Georgia campus.

Responsibilities:

As part of Academic Affairs and reporting to the Academic Affairs Director, the Graduate Programs Coordinator coordinates and manages all aspects of the graduate program curricula, ensuring consistency in implementation, testing, evaluation, and communication across all MUSM graduate programs and campuses. This position will maintain the academic records and assist in maintaining and annually updating the graduate programs curriculum manuals. This position will work closely with the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, graduate program directors, and faculty across campuses to support graduate students enrolled in the Master of Science in Preclinical Sciences, PhD in Biomedical Sciences, and PhD in Rural Health Sciences programs at Mercer University School of Medicine. The Graduate Programs Coordinator will support curricular components including instructional sessions, testing and evaluation, and data reporting. This position will maintain graduate programs academic records and provide administrative support to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and the graduate program directors.

Qualifications:

Two years of college coursework and two years of administrative support experience are required. In lieu of education, equivalent directly related experience will be considered.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to manage multiple emerging needs and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to foster a welcoming, supportive environment and communicate effectively with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and successful completion of projects.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive student and faculty data.
  • Ability to learn/use Student Records Management (SRM) System and/or Learning Management System (LMS).
