Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This role requires a Quality Assurance professional to design, develop, and execute API test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will create and maintain automation test frameworks for REST and SOAP based APIs using tools like SOA Test, Postman, or SOAP UI. Responsibilities: Create and maintain automation test frameworks for REST and SOAP based APIs using SOA test, postman or SOAP UI Develop reusable test automation components and utilities using Java Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA teams to identify, isolate and resolve defects Conduct Regression and Integration End to end testing for backend services and API Document and track defects, test results and automation metrics Cont ribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools Requirements: 5+ years of QA experience Hands on experience in API testing and automation Deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP-based web services Strong experience with SOAP UI, SOA Test, or Postman Familiarity with test management and defect management tools like JIRA, Octane Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
