Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - ServiceNow for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Concord, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will lead complex technology initiatives, act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices, and contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong years of ServiceNow development in an enterprise environment
- Strong technical experience implementing solutions by configuring and customizing ServiceNow product modules, with a preference for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Strong scripting ability using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
- Ability to write/troubleshoot/enhance custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, data policies, UI scripts, and ACLs
- Experience with AI tools and GenAI capabilities (preferred)
Desired skills:
- Well versed with various integration mechanisms with ServiceNow
- Well versed with Flow Designer
- Well versed with SN ATF
- Experience with CSDM and CMDB fundamentals
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- ServiceNow Certified Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Pay range: $69.84 - $77.84 per Hour
